I have synaser working well as RS232
(
http://wiki.freepascal.org/Hardware_Access#Serial_Communication)
right up to 12 MBaud on FT2232H, and all handshake lines control. Nice resource

Now, I need to program a small i2c device, so before I re-invent this, has anyone got a link for a synaser application, that interfaces to i2c using the RS232 handshake lines ?
Yes, this will be slow, but the device is small ( < 256 bytes) and USB-232 parts are everywhere ...
