problem installing new packages on ubuntu 10

Hi, after many problems and uninstall ed install in ubuntu 10.10, now I have a running lazarus ide 0.9.31 and fpc 2.7.1. But if try to install lnet package, when rebuild the ide get the message cannot find file menuintf.pas. I have installed from svn, building deb packages. Also another strange thing happen, if launch the fp fpc ide, and click help->about this say that compiler version is 2.5.2 instead of 2.7.1.
