Hi dear forum people,

Does anyone know of a font that is already with Lazarus Windows XP whose zero has a dot inside, so as to distinguish it from the letter "O" in the code, and as I print them for off-pc study.

Thanks!

On Vista "Deja Vu Sans mono" has it. Deja Vu IMHO look very good (turn anti-aliasing ON)

You are also aware, that you can change the color/background/style/... of numbers (if you edit code in Lazarus)? Actually, i think by default, they are blue (which may not be very different from the black of other text.

Thanks everyone.

I tried the terminal font, and was not too happy with its looks.

Then I found a comment of a font that is used by M.$oft for their "studios" called Consolas, I downloaded it and it is indeed quite nice. It is also monofont, good for lining up numbers (but not too good sometimes for usual text).

It has a backslashed zero, which is alo OK for distinguishing it from the letter "O".

So I'm kind of set and will see if the eyes are OK with that font.

 :)
