how to install lazarus on suse 8.0?

hi,

i can't install lazarus on suse linux 8.0.
basically, i can't install FPC because i can't install gtk+ because i can't install a c compiler

i'm totally new to linux. so could you guys please tell me how to install all that stuff?

hi again,

i managed install freepascal and so on via rpm's. now, the only thing i need to install lazarus is pixbuf.
when i try to install gdk-pixbuf-0.22.0-6.1.0.i386.rpm i need libc.so.6(GLIB_2.3). but i can't install this glibc because it needs other rpm's, too....

can anyone help me? i only have to get pixbuf and then it should work.
