Solarized Color Scheme
« on: April 21, 2011, 03:43:04 pm »
I just happened upon this site: http://ethanschoonover.com/solarized

To quote: "Solarized is a sixteen color palette (eight monotones, eight accent colors) designed for use with terminal and gui applications."

Anyone feel like mashing together and posting light and dark color schemes based on this?

Lazarus 0.9.31/Rev 33300;
FPC 2.7.1/Rev 19464;

It is currently light only -- you are welcome to compose dark variant ;-)

Looks really cool. Color picker with color theory concepts at play. Great idea. I have been thinking about this using the Fibonacci series for a vcl component.

Check this out.....

Forgive my ignorance ... but how do I use this XML file? In "IDE Options" > "Editor" > "Display" > "Colors", I have found how to export my current settings, but not how to import others.

Thanks.

I think if you put the .xml file in what corresponds to C:\users\username\appdata\local\lazarus\userschemes then the scheme should appear the second-from-the-left dropdown list in the editor color options window.

On XP that's C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Local Settings\Application Data\lazarus\userschemes
Technically it's actually the directory 'userschemes' in the Lazarus configuration directory.
