we are a small company offering professional Toolbar-Icons. We would like to contribute icons for your IDE for free.

Is it possible to place a hint about the origin of these icons in the IDE or homepage or do you dislike advertising at all?

All contributors are mentioned in contributors.txt, that is distributed with Lazarus (see [LazarusDir]/docs/Contributors.txt.

In the (near) future, the contents of this file will also be shown in the about-box in the IDE.

The current cvs version of lazarus mentions the contributors in the about box of the IDE. You can download a snapshot from the Lazarus Snapshot page.

We would like to accept your offer of the icons. You would be mentioned in the contributors. Somthing like:
