[SOLVED] Error: resource compiler "fpcres" not found

I have Ubuntu 9.10 and did a manual install of FPC 2.4.4 and Lazarus 0.9.30 from source guided by this page http://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/Installing_Lazarus.

Everything was ok until I tried to compile an empty project or install a component in either case I have the same message from the compiler:

What can I do to fix this problem?

:-[ :-[ The search I did before posting here had typo so it didn't found any post  :-[ :-[

Creating a Simlink in /usr/bin/ did the trick, like I found in Re: Lazarus & Debugger oops etc
