Can CodeTools insert space around assignment operator?

I want CodeTools to insert spaces around the assignment operator, and any other operators when it outputs them. Is there some way to accomplish this?

Menu -> Tools -> Options -> CodeTools -> Space ->
In front of: check "Symbol"
After: check "Symbol"
