SHA1 Hash Unit missing from Lazarus IDE

Hi

In the Windows installation of Lazarus 0.9.28.2, the SHA1 hash unit does not appear to be included, whereas on the Linux version, it is. Path (on Windows) :

c:\lazarus\fpc\2.2.4\units\i386-win32\hash

On the Linux install, there's a 'SHA1*.*' file.

Am I doing something wrong or is this something that needs to eb fixed?

I'm using fpc 2.4.3. Both sha1.o and sha1.ppu are in the hash folder.

Can't tell about 2.2.4 though.

I downloaded the Windows 32-bit installation from http://sourceforge.net/projects/lazarus/files/Lazarus%20Windows%2032%20bits/Lazarus%200.9.28.2/ where it states the FPC version as 2.2.4. I installed the larger 64Mb exe.

Can I ask where you're getting 2.4.3 from as it doesn't appear to be part of the standard release as far as I can tell?

Got it from the 'Daily Snapshots' (from the menu on the left of this page.)

Ah, OK, but they not the official releases so I guess there must be plans to eventually add SHA1 to the official release.

I guess I could use a daily snapshots that does include SHA1 instead, but doesn't that mean there's a chance that programs that I write using it may not work as intended, or am I being nieve?
