LazPaint (alpha-blending, antialiasing, filters)

What is ClearType filter and when it is useful. I read that it does displacement of RGB channels. I think it is for creating glitch effect by moving RGB channels by some values. When I applied it to an image nothing seems to happen.

ClearType is the filter used by the text under Windows.

Take a screenshot of the desktop, and zoom in the text. You will see that there are other colors and not just black / white. That's the ClearType.

I use 64 bit archive no install lazpaint download. Using scripts>channels>split HSL is not working.
removing :Alpha at last  from  translation = dialog.translate_dict(["Layer already split", "Hue", "Saturation", "Lightness", "Alpha": "Alpha"])  worked for me.

I see that HSL script was fixed here https://github.com/bgrabitmap/lazpaint/commit/9d7039700eef56a290bc3f129a745e534a5eda15

but new downloads do not use fixed file why ?.
