the main idea of xon is to be able to deal with ( serialize /deserialize /search /) all types of objects and structures... just iterate all the elements and put then in the xon buffer with writeX... but the best idea is to work with the data nodes within the xon itself... what kind of tree structure you want to seriazlize?
drop me a message if you want more help with your tree class

p.s i will post soon a demo to convert xml document (witch is basically a tree object) to xon ... this maybe helpful to you.

Hi,

I have implemented a Treap myself, and I am also studying SBT (Size Balanced Tree).  I am asking about a "generic" key structure.

Thanks!
