Firebird and float decimal

I have a question to ask. I lazarus in a database and into a field I should put a float value with up to two decimal places, how do I declare the field to do it? Hypothesized that a table named ipootetica MiaTabella I have to add the field to float to two decimal places, how can I? Thanks

In Firebird I declare numeric(7,2).
