Another uninformed question - this one about colors
« on: August 27, 2010, 06:51:43 pm »
I hate when I know enough to know I don't know emough  %)

I need to set the font and background colors of different items on a form and I've dug around a bit and found some color names, clRed, clBlue, etc but I need things like Lite Blue, Lite Green, etc.  Is there a list somewhere of default colors available or will I have to make them up and set constants myself.  If the latter is true the next question is is there a tutorial somewhere on defining colors?

Thanks

Bill

If you open the menu of Color property of any component on Object Inspector you will see all colors available.

Color property accepts also hexadecimal values.

Once again I overlooked the simplest solution.  I'd opened up the menu but never realized the colors on the bottom were the 'cl' colors.

Thanks
