Title: fpreport: Column properties not stored in report
Post by: MacWomble on December 02, 2019, 11:00:59 am
CulumnCount, ColumnGap and ColumnLayout are not saved in report.
It would be great when this will be done - also when opening a saved report.

Found this in base/fpreport.pp but my knowledge is not as good to do the changes  :o

Further ColumnLayout is not functional for now, only vertical is working, horizontal not.

Would be nice to have this all, so FPReport can be used for label-printing ...

Could someone help here?

fpreport maintainer should also have a look here: https://www.pilotlogic.com/sitejoom/index.php/forum/reports/5021-fpreport-bugs-ct6-9#14131

Where is the right place to post such problems?

fpreport is a FreePascal project. https://bugs.freepascal.org/view_all_bug_page.php

The best way is, to make a short sample program and post it in the bugreport of freepascal or lazarus (if the LCL is affected, eg. rendering).

I did a patch for saving and loading column properties. It works fine for me.

But be careful, I use CodeTyphon !

Have you made a bugreport ?! CT is using fpc, so it should be reported to be included in future.

I can not login but I sent Michael v. C. an email with my patch.

Michael applied the patch in meantime ...
