Title: Legal Delimiters to use in Property "HostName" of TSQLConnector
Post by: Zvoni on March 17, 2019, 03:11:10 pm
Hi Folks,

quick question: What are the legal Delimiters to use in HostName of a TSQLConnector, if i have to specify a Port?

The classic way: MyConn.HostName:='192.168.10.10:3900';?
Or something else?
I think i saw on the Forum here the use of the Forward-Slash
MyConn.HostName:='192.168.10.10/3900';

Oh, and no: Don't tell me to use the specific connection-class because i can't since the DB-Type is determined during RunTime.
