Apparently there are Forum Search Limits. hoodathought? WTF?
"Your last search was less than 16 seconds ago. Please try again later."
This is not helpful.

Searches have significant impact on the server for everyone else, so limits are unfortunately both needed and helpful.
-
The limit is actually 16 seconds. So one more second and you could search again.
Actually: was 16 sec. I lowered it to 12 sec now => lets see how it goes...
Usually, this should be no problem. The search itself takes a few seconds, and then presumingly you need some time to read the results. ... Well ok, unless you had a typo, and got zero results. Then it is annoying.

Use Google with the site filter:
Your search terms site:forum.lazarus.freepascal.org

In that case take out a higher level of subscription to pay for the enhanced service you require.

I have often noticed the long search time.
Is there anything the community can do to speed up the search?
E.g. the search on the German Lazarusforum.de website is much faster, which I find very pleasant.
Is it possible to optimize the search algorithm?
Or can we donate for a faster server?

What about a conditional search limit?
If nothing is found, then it is shorter.

Great, ask SMF forums to do it in the next major version :-) We are only users of the forum software...
