Title: DBUS and DBUSCOMP
Post by: bhaugland on August 17, 2019, 04:23:25 pm
I ran across this article about using DBUS with Free Pascal.  https://www.freepascal.org/~michael/articles/dbus2/dbus2.pdf (https://www.freepascal.org/~michael/articles/dbus2/dbus2.pdf)  It mentions a unit Dbuscomp as a class library wraps the standard DBUS calls.  However I cannot find this unit.  I have 3.0.4 of Free Pascal installed on my Ubuntu system.  The DBUS package is there but there is no Dbuscomp.

Does anyone know if dbuscomp exists anymore.  The article is from 2010 so it may have disappeared.

You don't need it. Just use the current package. The article is still good as a guide-line.
