Title: Real time trends on Lazarus
Post by: Ame555 on October 30, 2020, 12:45:16 am
Hello dear community, I would like to know if it is possible to make a real time trend with Lazarus as shown in this video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=37Zj955LFT0 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=37Zj955LFT0)

In this case there would be two types of trends:

The first one generates the trend from a numerical value inserted through a TEdit1.

The second Trend reads the numerical data stored in a database and is generated from a query parameterized by dates and times.

Where I am recommended to start reading to achieve this.

I appreciate your time.

Pdt. Please excuse my little knowledge of English.

You can achieve this with TAChart. If you never worked with this set of components you should begin with reading the Getting Started (http://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/TAChart_Tutorial:_Getting_started) tutorial.

As for the scrolling view, there was a recent question here in the forum: https://forum.lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php/topic,50759.msg371221.html
