Title: open a package alone

Hello,

apparently I am unable to open a package file "alone".
If I try to close the current project or Lazarus starts with empty project there is no option (chance) to open the package "alone", missed something ?

in the picture the proposed alternatives.

In conclusion to recompile a package I must have an active project loaded in the editor.

LAz 2.2.0/fpc 3.2.2

Correct. Lazarus is based on projects and you need a project open to essentially do anything. Packages are simply open "in parallel" to a project.
