Post by: Fred vS on November 22, 2020, 01:15:41 am
Hello.

I am happy to announce the new release of StrumPract (https://github.com/fredvs/strumpract).

StrumPract is various tools for musicians and music lovers, like:

DJ console for auto-mixing, with 2 players and direct-output of mic.
Equalizer 10 bands stereo for each players and recorder.
Play audio files and loop it, adjusting the tempo of the song to what you want.
Learn to play drums set in 4 lessons and develop your art.
Practice your other instruments with a editable drums machine.
    Tune your guitar and bass.
    Record your ideas-jam.
    Chords randomizer for jamming.
    Image Dancer.

The new releases of StrumPract (https://github.com/fredvs/strumpract/releases) are compiled with fpc 3.2.0.
There are executable for Linux 32/64, Windows 32/64, FreeBSD 64 and ARM RPi32.

It uses MSEgui (https://github.com/mse-org/mseide-msegui) widgetset, BGRABitmap (https://github.com/bgrabitmap/bgrabitmap) grapic library and uos (https://github.com/fredvs/uos/) audio library.

The goal of StrumPract is also to demonstrate the power of fpc, the quality of MSEgui and his docking feature and the maturity of BGRABitmap and uos.

StrumPract uses only free-open-source libraries and codes.

Have fun.

You're a real crack, Fred. Your apps are very fine pieces of work.

To be honest I'm not a big fan of MSEGUI  but wth! neither am I a fan of wxWidgets and use Audacity all the time, so I'll be using your program to compose some backing drums for my guitar practice (and maybe learn a little more about drums and drum-kits :-[).

Way cheaper than a rythm-box :D

Thanks, man.

BTW, I presume you're aware of http://pianobooster.sourceforge.net/ Not Pascal I'm afraid, and rather demanding of CPU and graphics performance.
