Title: How to update Lazarus 2.10

hello to all,

how is the correct way to upgrade from Lazarus 2.10 -> 2.12 -> 2.2 ?

I would like so that I don't have to re-install components  :( or re-configure the IDE  :o etc.

This has been asked before - see this thread (https://forum.lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php?topic=47005.0) on the topic for example. Don't forget that the Forum has  a reasonable search facility.
