Title: Windows8 Phone apps with Lazarus ?

Does anyone knows anything about developing win8 phone apps with Lazarus ?
Is windows8 compatibile with previous versions like winCE or other Windows Mobile OS's ?
Is it possible to develop for WinCE but run on Win8Phone ?
Do I have to use Lazarus under Win8 PC to develop apps for Win8Phone or I can use XP or 7 for my developing platform and crosscompile for win8 Phone ?

This article is from a couple of years ago. As far as I know MS does not support native applications on win8 mobile phones today.

It appears as though as of May 2013 MS has reintroduced native code for Win8 mobile phones. You can try and use the WinCE cross compiler to see if it works but I'm guessing that no one else has tried it.
