Title: Cef3 current version
Post by: xinyiman on October 14, 2019, 07:21:47 pm
Hi guys, I would like to experiment on ubuntu with cef3. I knew the download version was

cef_binary_3.3029.1619.geeeb5d7_linux64_minimal.tar.bz2

from http://opensource.spotify.com/cefbuilds/index.html

Has something changed? Because it doesn't work anymore.

The 3029 branch is very old.

If you need to use it under Ubuntu with Lazarus then you have to use the latest development branch of fpCEF3 :

Actually I have to be able to use it both on windows 10, ubuntu and mac os. I first try Macos and tried to download 3.3538 but it doesn't work. Which version should I use if I install this package here:

I'm not the maintainer of that project but I suppose that this package :
http://opensource.spotify.com/cefbuilds/cef_binary_3.3538.1852.gcb937fc_linux64.tar.bz2

However, the LCL integration seems to be incomplete for the moment.

The project maintainer is registered in this forum. Ask him for more details :

I talked to him and he told me that fpcef3 is no longer maintained. He told me not to rely on that component.
