I am always amazed how shit Google is. They can't invent anything of value. They can only copy and buy other products.
To make Chrome they used KHTML, to make Android they used Linux, couldn't compete with Youtube (Google Video was terrible) so they just bought Youtube. Now they are copying ChatGPT.
List of their failures: https://killedbygoogle.com/

And, most important of all, the purchase of "Overture".

Hum, Google Earth is not so bad.

In 2004 Google bought Keyhole Inc., which was partially funded by the Central Intelligence Agency’s venture capital arm, In-Q-Tel. Keyhole had developed an online mapping service that Google rebranded in 2005 as Google Earth.

Ok, so I rectify: incredible how fast they did Bard available, just 2 months after ChatGPT.
(Not easy to find positive for G).

Interesting too, the new contest (like it was between IBM-DeepBlue vs Human for chess):
Who is the most intelligent: ChatGPT, Bard or Human...?

Also, it is just a worse version of "Earth" by the CIC company. That Earth could show everything as live stream on a 3d hologram.
Although that Earth is from the Snow Crash novel, so it was entirely fictitious

Why did they misspell Bart as Bard? Can Bart sing?

MacOs is also based on Unix (from Next)... :D :D
And Mac OS Classic used Pascal as premier development language... ;)
-
Bart is finally reachable: https://bard.google.com/
But Pascal is not in the 20 languages he could help to generate code.
According to Bard itself, these are the programming languages in which it can generate code:
C++
Go
Java
JavaScript
Python
TypeScript
C
C#
R
Swift
Kotlin
PHP
HTML
CSS
SQL
Bash
Perl
Ruby
Lua
Rust
Also not available yet in EU.

Ha, nice, so he learned fast! ;)
From this site dating of April 21, 2023:
https://mytechdecisions.com/it-infrastructure/googles-ai-bard-generate-code-20-languages/
Pascal was not in his answer.
I cannot test it, I am in the EU ( perfect excuse ;D ).
