Title: Messages window font size or zoom how to change?
Post by: nolazycodingplease on November 04, 2020, 06:37:50 am
Dear all,

Is there a way to change the font size for the message lines in the "messages window" (german: "Nachrichten") ?

While I simply can change the font size for the editor window by using <ctrl>+ <mouse wheel>,
I could not found any way to set the font size for the "messages window".

thx in advance and
best regards,
nlcp

I would be interested, too. Eyes don't get better with the age ;-)

Hi!

Thanx boys! I also wear glasses.

I looked real hard to find a fontdialog for the messages but I did not find one.

Is this the truth - then we should write it on the whish list.
Or does someone know a solution?

Did you know that you can copy all or selected messages to the clipboard or save them to a file? While a changeable font size would be welcome this might be a workaround for the time being.

Hi!

Yes I know this workaround.

I played around with the font size of the desktop (KDE):

The font in the message window, the Opbject inspector and a lot of other elements of the IDE change with the font size(s) of the desktop. It seems that this is hard coded.
That is not very practiable:
When I want to have a long message line in a readable font size it does not mean that I want my desktop icon captions in screaming hight.
