Title: Ubuntu MenuBar location
Post by: VTwin on March 20, 2016, 07:58:12 pm
In Ubuntu it is possible to have the menu bar at the top of the screen, similar to OS X, or at the top of frames, similar to Windows. The setting is in:

System Settings > Appearance >  Behavior

Lazarus applications, as far as I can tell, always show the menus at the top of frames, regardless of this setting.

Is there a setting to enable this feature? If not, is anyone aware of discussion of this as a bug or feature request? Any input is appreciated.

Cheers,
VTwin

Sorry, this may be a Ubuntu or VBox glitch. I rebooted and do not seem to have this issue anymore.
