Title: Synedit1 package missing
Post by: guest48180 on September 16, 2012, 06:57:46 pm
Just got Lazarus 1.0 installed. Looks great. But on startup, I get a warning box that tells me:

Unable to open the package "synedit1". This package was marked for installation.

So I went back to the Debian installer and reinstalled Lazarus again, but the synedit1 package is still MIA. Can someone help me understand what I have to do to get the synedit1 package installed? I'm learning on the fly, the ins and outs of Linux and how programs and files are installed. I guess I'd have to do something from the command line, but I'm not very familiar there at all. So any help getting this package installed would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
