Title: Duplicate keystrokes doing almost anything
Post by: evilmrb on July 17, 2020, 06:31:51 pm
I had a fully-working installation of Lazarus 2.0.8 on my Linux Mint 19.3 MATE 64-bit system. When I spotted that 2.0.10 had been released I installed the newer version. When I came to try it, every time I enter text I get every character TWICE. Say I add a button to a form and then go to change the caption to 'Exit'. What I get in the text box is 'EExxiitt' without exception. I tried opening the demo projects and typing a search string - same thing. I had to uninstall and revert to 2.0.8.
This is where it gets ultra-weird and frustrating - version 2.0.8 does it too, leaving me completely unable to use Lazarus.
