CVS using Tortoise
« on: April 15, 2005, 06:21:19 pm »
I just tried to download the CVS using Tortoise, by interpreting the instructions in the Wikki, but I ended up with the complete free pascal package, some 200 MB. I've tried to change the path, so as to only get Lazarus, but got nowhere. Any ideas?

When I get it sorted I'll change the Wikki, so us dumb Windows users will understand it
Thanks...

Hi, I use this tool too, to download the files. I have only 36 Mb. Use in Toroise following:
CVSROOT: :pserver:cvs@cvs.freepascal.org:/FPC/CVS
Protokoll:   Password Server(:pserver:)
Server:      cvs.freepascal.org
Repository-Ordner: /FPC/CVS
Benutzername: cvs
Modul: lazarus
I think you must only change the modul to lazarus.

Thanks Joerg!  That fixed it - I get around the same size.
