Malware found in installation-exe
« on: May 18, 2010, 05:01:25 am »
Hi,

Downloaded lazarus-0.9.28.2-fpc-2.2.4-win32.exe and tried to install but was stopped by F-Secure with warning:

2010-05-18 09:38: Malicious code found in file
c:\lazarus\fpc\2.2.4\bin\i386-win32\js-BPJ2C.tmp
Threat: Trojan.Win32.Midgare.amxd
File removed

Which version would be secure to download

Regards
stab :(

I tell you, the FPC and Lazarus team is actually a criminal band of hackers/crackers which create malware to steal the data on your PC, actually it should be called Crackasoft Lazarus/FPC
lol

No, seriously...
Well, even antivirus software can make mistakes, try with at least 2 others antivirus softwares on clean machines (VirtualBox?), if still you get the alarm, then something should really be wrong .I have that version installed since long now, and my ESET NOD32 v.4.0 never gave me any warnings regarding that.

It seems that Kaspersky is also reporting a trojan:

Afaiu, they think it is a false positive.
