I wrote a program in Delphi, using OLE components. Can I translate it to Lazarus? Do Lazarus supports OLE? If No, is there a chanche that it will support? What can I do to translate my Delphi code?

OLE is win32 only and not supported.

Depending on what you use, you might be able to translate some parts using native win32 api

I use OLE just for opening MS Excel and writting something on the cells. Any chance  that I can do that with Lazarus?
So, OLE is a feature that will never be supported?
Couldn't something be done similar with OLE, but for OpenOffice? We have OpenOffice on win and Linux...

I use OLE for opening Excel and put some values in a sheet's cells. Can this be done with Lazarus (I doubt...)
Is OLE a feature that will never be available in Lazarus?
Could something be done, similar with OLE, but for OpenOffice? We have OOo in Win and Linux...

About OLE you have to ask the FPC team, it seems some basic support is included    , i think OpenOffice has some interface libraries, you should search about that.
The future must be... Fast and OpenSource so...
Think Open and Lightning Fast!
