Looks like Ubuntu with Gnome: Right-click just between the minimize-all button and the first tab item, select properties and choose how Gnome should group windows.

Also it'd be good to set tool windows like object inspector etc to Toolwindow style like delphi's and make'em dockable with each other  ::)

Yes, yes, yes, of course I vote for it, but.. is it possible? I am afraid that it's just the stupid window manager that doesn't allow it...

I don't want the buttons grouped, I need ONE button, like in Windows.

+1.

See the patch in attached, we will ask them to put it in Lazarus for GTK users. The patch is of member Flávio Etrusco[¹]. This patch has increased my productivity and much in Lazarus under Linux.

Isn't it a question of OS? Multi-window programs as Gimp or Lazarus just have multiple buttons at Linux.

As you can see in my post, part of which you quoted, that was what I beleived too, but now it seems that there is a solution.
You obviously didn't read Silivo's post.

I also like to know. I do not quite understand the bugtracker, they put a new status in the report[¹]. Could someone please explain whether the action will come in the next version?

The reporter closed the thread to hide it from his own view. I updated yesterday but didn't find such a feature. After all, the patches couldn't be applied to latest svn release and some hacks were needed too. As far as I see, we have to wait.

Hello Ocye,

Which problem ocurred when applying the patch? Here I only had to edit the msgview.lfm in the IDE, then compile it normally.
