begin .. end; heighlighter request

Sometimes when writing long code with a lot of begin ends or try ends or case ends you get lost and mix the number of ends.

Would it be possible that lazarus highlights begins and ends?

Perhaps just a key-shortcut which if pressed in a block would highlight the given blocks begin and end.

I know that many constructs use end without begin so it might be difficult there. But for the key-shortcut way I think they can be ignored(not safely, but can :D )

Thanks,

Ales

That's a very good idea!
Like, you hover above an 'end', and in a pop-up you'll see to which 'begin' it belongs

Well Vincent later told me that there's a "find begin" and "jump to the other side" funcionality in the search part(you can add key shortcuts)
For example if I go into a block and press Ctrl+B I get the cursor to the corresponding begin.
If I press Ctrl+D on begin/end I jump to the corresponding end/begin.

Yes but highlightning would be verry nice too, i don't think it's verry hard to do, just needs time, it's similar to ()[]{} highlightning, jumping ca be distracting while highlightning is quite nice, what do you think would be best, changing color, adding italic style, highlightning the whole line, or something else ?
