tLed Component?
« on: June 15, 2010, 01:39:41 am »
Hello,

has anyone published a tLed component ?

If no, where's the best explanation for creating a LCL component?

Thanks,

Martin

Sure has: http://www.torry.net/pages.php?id=120
But you can still make your own as an exercise and then move to new ideas.

If no, where's the best explanation for creating a LCL component?

Thanks for the hints. Is there also a Lazarus component (lpk) file collection, can I directly load Delphi components or do I need do convert the Delphi files manually by rewriting them based on the existing non-Lazarus component?

In this list
http://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/Components_and_Code_examples#Visual_components
there is no Led component.

There isn't any Lazarus version. You could convert one (after checking the license
allows it). Rewriting doesn't sound like a good idea when there are many free components available.

Do you need a component for this simple thing?  I just drop a tshape (stcircle) on my form and the change it's  brush.color as needed.
windows 10 &11, Ubuntu 21+ IDE 3.2.2 general releases

Thanks, tShape is a simple, but effective solution!
