Identifier completion
« on: February 24, 2010, 07:41:38 pm »
Hi guys I have two sugestions:

1. Add asigment operator :=

This is good but I would suggest to include one suboption for it. I prefer to have a one space before and after the assgiment operator, like this
Code: [Select]
Something := SomethingElse
instead of

Code: [Select]
Something:=SomethingElse
I know that this is a matter of taste but I am pretty sure that a lot of people would prefer the first option.
Just give us a change to have a choice.

2. Add semicolon.

It is usefull but not in the way that it is implemented now. The thing is that after adding the semicolon the cursor is before a semicolon. This causes that if I want to go to the next line I need to go with cursor after the semicolon and then press enter. I think that the cursor should be initialy after the semicolon so the less operation would be involved and productivity increase. After all in most cases if we add a semicolon that means that we want to go imediately to the next line by pressing enter.

Regards.

1. Add asigment operator :=
Environment/Options... and then select CodeTools/Space.
