Accelerator keys

I recently started using Lazarus in Windows XP.  I have some experience with Delphi, but that was a few years ago.  Everything seems to be going OK except for one thing.  

I have used '&' in the Caption property of various buttons and labels in order to make use of accelerator keys in my projects (ie pressing Alt and the appropriate letter).  However, it doesn't seem to be working.  The FocusControl property of the labels has been set correctly, so that's not the problem, and in any case, the buttons aren't working either.  

Can anybody shed any light on this?

It's a bug, it may be fixed, check the CVS or Nightly builds.
