Hi, I had also made a tool to change the icon to your programs and to ad the XP style to them.
It can be downloaded at  http://freewebs.com/bpsoftware/Wi%28n%29Xtap/Wi%28n%29XtaP%5F0%5F5%5F0/BPS-Wi%28n%29XtaP_0_5_0.rar
The program is still beta, it is a closed source Freeware program. Yu can used and redistribuited freely.
Contact me for any suggestion or bugs at BPsoftw [at] hotmail [dot] com

Updated version: http://www.violin-bg.com/temp/optionstool.rar
Note: source is included, if someone wants to see how it's made or fix something.

Try save link as...

And install a .rar extractor, for example 7zip.

I haven't looked at any of these apps, but since I recently did a lot of Vista prepations, my recommendation would be to take the UAC part of the manifest into account for any such app (application name, requestedExecutionLevel, ...).

Unfortunately the link for WinXtaP doesn't work, on the downloadpage after waiting for 24 seconds a link appears that generates a file not found message.
Is there any other place where the file can be downloaded?
OS: Windows 10 (64 bit) / Linux Mint (64 bit)
       Lazarus 3.2 FPC 3.2.2
       CodeTyphon 8.40 FPC 3.3.1

Thanks vins it's a very helpful tool. Lazarus is a great IDE but it's plagued by the lack of a proper comprehensive repository for useful tools and tutorials. I even find this forum very slow and and at times in accessible. With these setbacks it's unlikely the community will grow very much, despite the really awesome IDE.
