Were y can find example or a component for serial comunication ??
I'm using Lazarus on Linux .

You have some unit named port and you can also use synaser from the synapse components, maybe you can also use their visual counterparts.

I have downloaded synaser that is a class but i can't compile the demo (test.pas in FreePascal Demo dir).
In the zip file there is synafpc.pas that is a Utils for FreePascal compatibility but I don't
Know how to use it.
When I compile i recive many error of conversion HELP !
Escusme but I'm new to lazarus and free pascal.

You may write to the mailing list or go to the IRC and ask, people say synaser is usable, but not everybody reads the forums frequently, but most people read the mails and you might get faster answers on IRC.

you dont need to compile any .pas file. Just include "synaser" to "uses". And 3 synaser's files will be placed in the same directory with your project.
