[newbie] TDataSet

Hi all!

I'm a newbie to Linux and Lazarus so I'm a bit confused  :cry:

I'm trying to conect to a DB (in postgres) but I don't know how to make a TDataSet component.

Can anyone explain how to do this (for postgres or MySQL). I need a very simple explanation (a tutorial would be nice ;) ) 'cause I've just started with Linux.
