Just for a notice you mean another rendering engine rather, right?:-)
Yea, right , whatever.  ::)

As I said above. We already have working example using Qt. What is needed now it's proper headers for either WebKit (not the one used by Qt ofc) or Gecko that someone will maintain. It's pretty much Qt bindings except that this time you might not have to write another library in order to put proper functionality.
Good luck then. I just laid out the options on the table (for nth time).  :D

Update to update:

http://web.fastermac.net/~MacPgmr/Lazarus/THtmlPort_20091031.zip

- Workaround for access violation in Intel Mac Lazarus designer.

- Ported the other example app in the demo_src folder: htmldemo.lpi. This is similar to framedem.lpi but with just a single HTML viewer instead of a frame viewer.

Thanks.

-Phil

Update on THmlPort (Dave Baldwin HTML components ported to Lazarus):

i tried THmlPort on Linux but i get a
cant find htmlview errror.
i renamed it to Htmlview.pas but the error remains.

I was getting that error too. Try compiling it twice, as I suggested above. Click Compile, then click Compile again, then click Install and see if that helps any.

Thanks.

I've committed the THtmlPort source to the Lazarus CCR repository and created a wiki page for it:

http://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/THtmlPort

Thanks.
