argument for:cascading/tiling source editor

Hello developpers,

A small request for an already very usefull application.

I'm starting to write an introductory course for pascal programming, using the Lazarus environment.

The 'project' concept of Lazarus enables me to present code and instructions together, wich is very nice!
For instance, a lesson about the WRITELN command, consists of program file and a tutorial text.
A student reads the instructionfile and changes the program accordingly.
This can already be done in the current version.

However, a nice extra feature of the source-editor would be that two files could be tiled besides eachother. This way instruction and program can be read together.

Greetings and success,

Frans-Pieter Vonck

For now you should use the tabs, maybe this will be added in the future, if you have the time you can add this and send your code to the mailing list.
The future must be... Fast and OpenSource so...
Think Open and Lightning Fast!
