Library for XSLT 2.0 Transformation (requested for XRechnung / ERechnung)

Hint:
Starting next year, any ERP/Invoice/Accounting Software in Germany and the EEC must be able to write XRechnung or ERechnung. This is about the electronic invoice regulation   2014/55/EU.


Does anybody knows a library and/or tutorial who to work with .xml files and to read/write them with XSLT 2.0 content/format settings. I have no experince with .xml and try to learn and find out how to read and write einvoices by myself.

To work with XML take a look here. I understood the xrechnung format is standard XML, or am I misstaken?
