Supported platform
- Windows 7 and +, 32b and 64b (tested on Win7 32b and Win10 64b).
- Linux 64b (tested on VM Ubuntu 20.04).

Features
- Show is divided in sequences. A sequence is divided in audio, dmx or other actions and is triggered at the right time, manually or by another sequence.
- Drag and drop your dmx fixtures in a 2D view. Change the stage and seats shape, add fixtures by drag drop, rotation, zoom. Support multiple universes.
- DMX library with more than 500 fixture definitions (from Open Fixture Library). Tool to create new definition included.
- Effects for DMX channels and RGB trio: dimmer, wave, flame, chaser, flash, audio follower, copy.
- Import audio file to your project. Saynètes make a copy of the original files and insert it in the project.
- Audio capture for voice-overs.
- Wide range of audio effects: autowah, chorus, echo, flanger, reverb,... (OpenAL-Soft)
- Presets.
- Intermission music management.

History
The Saynètes story began around 2011. It was born out of the technical needs felt by our team when staging up amateur theater shows.
At first, the software only managed audio, then the possibility of renting DMX lighting equipment at low cost presented itself, and it evolved to support this protocol, at first in a rudimentary way. Needs and the material we had guided its evolution.
This version of Saynètes has been completely rewritten. It wasn't written to compete with other excellent software we can find on the net.

I am interested to try it, but I am very busy at the moment. I saved this page and github link for later.

I just took over responsibility for a small local stage, but I'm actually quite happy with our Jester. Still interested in looking into your software though, since I was thinking about some desktop tool to draft the Jester programs. Will have to look to make it run on macOS first, so it might take some time (vacation also coming up) before I report back

For the moment, the port to macOS is not planned. I'm still an hobbyist and I lack of knowledges to easily port this soft on macOS. Enjoy your vacation!

NOTE:
For Linux user that have the ENTTEC USB DMX PRO device, because Saynètes use the D2XX driver version, after the device is plugged in, you have to unload the VCP (virtual com port) driver from the kernel with:

Version 3.1.2 of Saynètes is available https://github.com/Lulu04/Saynetes/releases/latest

Changes:

• Fix: key SPACE don't start the sequence preview any more when user edits the sequence name.
• Removed the feature 'send new fixture definition by mail': because GMX mail provider block the access to lulutech@gmx.fr by the application. Instead Saynètes ask the user to send her/himself the file by mail.
• Added the possibility to change the dmx adress of a fixture.
• Improved detection of dmx address conflict and warn message to the user.
• Improved some translations.
• Clean code.

Sorry, no change for Linux bad colors and oversized font.

If you use this software and create new fixture definitions, please, send them to lulutech@gmx.fr they will be added to the next release. Thanks!
