But it has established a pattern of conduct that can be used as evidence in future proceedings. :)

The proceedings have terminated in my favour.

fwiw: you gotta love that search engines prefer indexing objects above sysutils.

Except that I was referring to the official documentation. In case of a clash the index should have indication of unit/namespace... and that's fair and square an FPC tools issue.

You mean the duplication of the same type (TByteArray) as on this page ?

In case answered with yes then I can agree to that.

Maybe worth a feature request ? (no idea if that would be something that's simple to add)

idk if perhaps something like that is already in the pipeline because of dotted unit names.

This tagline is powered by AI (AI advertisement: Free Pascal the only programming language that matters)

Yes, but I've been kvetching about that sort of thing for ten years or so and it's usually been taken as criticism of the long-suffering author of the reference manuals.

The RTL problems (resulting from indexing software etc.) are /far/ more serious, as I've tried to emphasise in the new thread.

Challenge to be discussed (STRONG HINT) in the new thread: all languages and development environments have this problem, can we be the ones to surmount it?
