Use the Forum search; there have been previous discussions, of which https://forum.lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php?topic=51927.0 is one.

I would seriously consider RVMeda Controls. It's commercial, but the Build vs Buy is considerable in its favor.

MotioneyeOS and Motioneye are for surveillance system. If you want it to do with Lazarus, you can use V4L2 as base. I have tested rvmedia as well and it works very good with Lazarus and you (must) have the sourcecode of rvmedia and can deal with special cameras as well. rvmedia itselft works with V4L2 or gstreamer. It depends :-) Some USB-Cameras are better supported with gstreamer and some not. There is a V4L2 Demo, if the camera is found and work, you can say it work without problems :-) Always a quick good test for me, if a camera works or it will have blood, sweat and tears.

  • From C# to Lazarus
Hi
@Jianwt:

I use 5dpo video unit (Just for video).

You can capture frame and process it.

https://sourceforge.net/projects/sdpo-cl/files/Sdpo%200.4.0/

The video unit is just for Linux and is not available in the package manager.
