I think we first need to make sure that there are 'enough' Chinese language users are active in this forum.

Hey, I am a Chinese ... genetically/ancestrally. Unfortunately I can't read and write Chinese alphabets.  :-[

Chinese in the strict sense are determined by nationality + culture + blood. In fact, you're only Asian.

For a programming language, the number of users of the forum is really too small at the moment.

Apparently, tact is not one of those factors of being Chinese.

If FPC forum will have this part, expect the politics in it: Tan-an-men square, fight against communism, Mao, etc. And main ppl cannot control it.

In China, there is no political correctness in the usual sense. So, sometimes misunderstandings arise.

This is indeed a problem.

In fact, it is the same on all earths, the difference is only the taboo. Just like you can't criticize Jews in the United States.

If FPC forum will have this part, expect the politics in it:
Please don't bring it in here then... And, no they should not be allowed in any language board either.

For all else, there won't be an immediate decision. Various factors will need to be evaluated over time. Until then the issue will be monitored. Anyone is welcome to add there view on the topic (provided it is done with appropriate consideration)

EDIT:
To everyone: Please leave out (ideally remove) politically motivated topcis.

I don’t think this would be a problem if only pascal programmers are allowed to post in forums, however if random trolls are allowed to post, politics will definitely be one of the tactics used to cause trouble.
I have no idea how much fpc is used by people who only know Chinese... it seems like a good idea if there are enough people to use it.
✨ 🙋🏻‍♀️ More Pascal enthusiasts are needed on IRC .. https://libera.chat/guides/ IRC.LIBERA.CHAT  Ports [6667 plaintext ] or [6697 secure] channel #fpc  #pascal Please private Message me if you have any questions or need assistance. 💁🏻‍♀️

"Random trolls" are being taken care of by the forum moderation. Asking for a Chinese board has nothing to do with this.

Some unfortunate statements were made early on, and had stopped after my moderation note. No need to bring that up again.

Making certain implication, is no better than the statements about wich they may have been made. So please refrain from doing so. Thanks.

a) There is an existing site with thousands of registered users and posts. The site's security certificate has expired a month ago.  Translating the few topics shown on the landing page reveals discussions very typical of this forum.

b) The is a perception that Pascal is losing users and popularity.

Oh, what to do :-[

PS: I find that people often misinterpret my attempts at communication. In short - yes create a Chinese sub-forum.
