I know it's more of a bug and an LCL problem, but I have a suggestion: Implement better window/form refresh for the IDE and programs compiled using LCL.

Alot of the time a window will only have half or less of its content displayed.

 :D  I think it's a good suggestion. It's not a bug report, because it's not a bug, it's a [bad] feature  :wink:  that I am suggesting you make better.

It does have a "refresh".

What do you mean by "edit.alignment:=tacenter ?".
It doesn't refresh after seting the alignment ?
On what OS are you running ?
It works well on win32 and last time i checked it worked on Linux too.
