For me: Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit have it pro and cons.
For me: Linux Debian/Ubuntu 64-Bit have it pro and cons.
But for me, the cons for Linux tend to be more complex as Windows.
Because the Device Driver for Linux are "Taylored Software".

Mostly the SHAREWARE / TRIALWARE Authors with their fast and dirty Software makes the Operating System insecure and unstable.
Last but not least the CRACKER Software, which is for ship around License is the Source-Layer to damage the Operating System.
I can tell you some Stories about that - and I know what it means, to CRACK Software...
It is ILLEGAL...
Nowaday's, I never use those Software.
I invest a little payment, to get professional, and good Software.
Software like fpc, and Lazarus are a good start, to learn the Basic's of Programming, to re-invest as counter Part into recruiting and educate new youngsters (in mind, that you honor the Work from other Peoples - like I honor the Work from the FPC Compiler Team, that provide a Deal between Free and Comfort.
You can not claim Comfort from Free Software - which includes 100% stable running with all Components you need, to "free" download the Software from Others, and make Money with the Effort of Others.
That's why the mp3.com Platform shut down in 2000 - because they are ruined - because all Peoples that was thinking, that all Software and Music was free, they could download at all without a fee (to honor the Authors, Writers, ...)
