In typical HN fashion a comment tangential to the topic gets upvoted and dominates the thread, causing it to veer off into la-la land, making it more about Pascal than Castle game engine itself.

Sometimes you have to wonder about the C crowd's inferiority complex, that they feel the urge to react like a bull on anything that is vaguely Pascal related. Even 30+ years after the C-Pascal wars (which were mostly only imaginary anyway).

Can't really escape this no matter how. Looks like the hate it built-in during their learning period.

C programmers don’t just hate us , they actively attack us. I’ve never had the urge to go over to support channels for c programming and cause trouble . The same cannot be said for them.
