For someone like myself who only programs for a hobby, it is sometimes difficult to grasp concepts that are new to me.
When I posted my request for help "executing bash within Lazarus",  I was amazed  by the amount of input I received.

Although I struggled for a while, but with the help of  HERO MEMBER TRon  I was able to do all the things I needed in a single Lazarus  program. It ended up with over 1000 lines of code which may be due to my coding but it works.

This shows this great benefit of the Forum for those with limited knowledge.
